One of the risks of using bleeding edge technology is buying a product from a young company that doesn’t have a strong financial position. That appears to be the case with two pet tech startups that recently closed down: Nuzzle and Feed and Go.
Nuzzle was a smart GPS collar and Feed and Go was a smart feeder equipped with a webcam. Both of these devices used internet connections to provide many of their features. When the companies shut down, they also pulled the plug on their web servers, thus crippling the functionality of their products.
