Companion Labs is creating a device that trains dogs.

The device, called Companion Pro, is equipped with image sensors, a speaker, lights and a treat launcher.  It uses artificial intelligence to detect a dog’s actions and dispense treats to reinforce desired behavior.

The company is based at the offices of the San Francisco SPCA and has started training dogs at the shelter.
