Mixlab is a startup that bills itself as a modern pet pharmacy that provides a personalized experience.

The company focuses on compounding: it can combine multiple pet medications into one, add flavoring (like beef or bacon) and transform pills into other forms, such as treats, liquids or gels.  The company also provides home delivery for its meds.

Mixlab raised $8.5 million in seed funding from an investment group led by Global Founders Capital and that included Mars Petcare.

CEO and co-founder Fred Dijols is a Stanford grad with an MBA from Harvard Business School.
