The telehealth market is heating up.
Austin-based TeleVet received $2 million in a seed funding round.
Televet makes a communications platform that allows vets to talk to customers by text, voice or video chat. It markets the platform to veterinarians, so that they can better stay connected to their customers.
The company was founded by Steven Carter and Price Fallin in 2015 and currently has 5 employees.
Funding was provided by Dundee Venture Capital of Omaha, Nebraska and the Mercury Fund of Houston, Texas. The new capital will go towards hiring employees and product development.
