Amazon Sales Data

Listed below are sales data for pet tech products being sold in the US on Amazon. Although Amazon is but one sales channel, it is an extremely important one – responsible for about 44 percent of all US ecommerce sales last year and about 4 percent of the country’s total retail sales, according to One Click Retail, an ecommerce analytics provider. The data below was collected the second week of September 2019. Last month’s data can be viewed here.

- Lots of price changes. Most changes reflected a price reduction. Across all categories, but especially in Smart Feeders.
- Petcube released new versions of its cameras. Will start tracking them next month.
- WoPet leads the Smart Feeder category. A year ago, they were sixth in gross sales.
